Beth Mountford
Beth is a thoughtful and strategic legal recruiter with a natural talent for helping lawyers navigate critical career decisions. With attentive listening skills and genuine curiosity, she takes the time to get to know her clients so she can provide the best long-term career planning advice.
Drawing on her prior experience as a counselor, Beth takes pride in helping her clients identify their true long-term career interests. Beth excels in leveraging her network to connect lawyers with the most meaningful opportunities in the market that most closely aligned with their goals.
Having practiced with both boutique and national law firms on Bay Street, Beth’s experience as a lawyer offers a unique perspective that blends both large and small firm practice dynamics in assessing career goals. Her experience allows her to help find unique solutions to career questions top performers routinely face.
Beth firmly believes lawyers can enjoy what they do! In addition to legal recruiting, she is passionate about improving mental health within the legal profession. She is regularly called upon by firms, corporations, and the Ontario Bar Association to lead a range of CPD workshops on mental health issues, particularly around stress and anxiety in the practice of law.
Outside the office, Beth is a competitive marathon runner. While most of us are happy if we can run to Starbucks, Beth’s running includes qualifying for elite-level, international marathons (including Boston, Chicago, New York, and Berlin, to name but a few).
