Our client, a highly regarded litigation group within one of Vancouver’s top business law firms, is seeking to add a talented commercial litigation associate with three to seven years of experience. As part of this dynamic practice, you will work closely with senior litigators on complex commercial files, including contractual disputes, shareholder and partnership conflicts, real estate litigation, fraud and misrepresentation claims, and matters involving professional liability, securities, and insolvency. You will be given meaningful responsibility from day one—drafting pleadings, managing discovery, attending court appearances, and developing litigation strategy. The group is known for its courtroom excellence and strategic advocacy, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to further develop their oral advocacy skills in chambers, trials, and arbitrations.
The ideal candidate will have between three and seven years of commercial litigation experience, gained at a reputable litigation boutique or full-service firm. Strong written advocacy, sound judgment, and the ability to manage files with increasing autonomy are key. The team values practical, business-minded advice and a collegial approach to practice. Experience with injunctions, summary trials, or complex document-heavy cases will be viewed favourably.
