Daiana is the steady hand behind two of Smith Legal Search’s busiest desks. As Executive Assistant to both Trevin Sewell and Beth Mountford, she keeps their work running smoothly across Toronto and Vancouver, coordinating interviews, managing communications, and conducting candidate research that gives each search the attention and momentum it needs. She also lends her research support to the wider team as projects require, from market intelligence to broader recruitment initiatives.
Colleagues know Daiana for her responsiveness and thoroughness, along with her ability to manage competing priorities without losing precision on either desk. Her research skills and organized approach make her a reliable point of contact across both practices.
Originally from Argentina, Daiana brings a legal background to her work. She is completing her law degree at the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, which sharpens her analytical thinking and gives her a strong footing in legal research and professional communication — abilities she draws on daily to support the recruiting team, clients, and candidates alike.
Outside of work, Daiana enjoys strength training, watching national and international films and series, and baking sweet treats. In her free time, she loves heading to the park for mate and a relaxed merienda.
