Kyla is a relationship-driven legal recruiter who believes finding the right fit starts with actually knowing the person across the table. Known for her warmth, curiosity, and willingness to ask the questions that take a conversation past the surface, Kyla focuses on the kind of fit that holds up six months in, not just at signing.
Kyla holds a Bachelor of Psychology from Simon Fraser University. She began her career working with children with learning and developmental disabilities, where she learned that the most important part of any role is paying close attention to the person in front of you, not the script you’ve been handed. A pandemic-era pivot took her into experiential marketing, where she spent several years at a Vancouver agency bringing brands to life and designing employee engagement programs for clients across industries.
That work led her to the Vancouver Canucks, where she joined the premium membership experience team. There, she discovered that the best client relationships in any industry come from the same place: remembering the small things, understanding what someone really wants beyond what they came in asking for, and being willing to walk away from a sale when the fit isn’t right. Those instincts, paired with years of relationship-driven work, are what she brings to legal recruiting today.

Outside the office, you can usually find Kyla at a new restaurant in Vancouver, deep in a book, or watching hockey with very strong opinions on every play.
